The League of Dreams

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started by Tim Terrio of TERRIO Therapy-Fitness in 1998 as a way to give back to the community and fulfill a need which was not being met at the time.
TERRIO felt that athletics are an important part of a child’s physical, emotional and mental development and that children with disabilities aren’t any different. As owner of TERRIO Therapy-Fitness, he felt that the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies offered by his company were all part of the solid foundation for children with special needs.
Sports are part of most children’s lives at one point or another where they develop coordination, speed, agility, and help with their overall well-being. Tim developed the philosophy of "Every Child Deserves The Chance To Play" which is now known as the tagline for the organization. TERRIO's focus on Adults, Athletics, Children, and Seniors also includes children with special needs, and the League of Dreams is a unique program that hasn’t sustained a community presence with significant growth like the League of Dreams has over its existence over the past five years.
